MVA Events aims to connect all members of the Macdonald Valley who wish to participate in community activities, whether you are a Member of the Association or not.
The MVA is a unifying and active organisation that does many things consistent with its’ Mission Statement of ‘Protect, Enhance and Promote the Natural and Human Environment of the Macdonald Valley’.
One of these is to organise occasional community events, whilst meeting our broad goals of;
· Promote Community Participation and Wellbeing
· Create Opportunities for Local Business Involvement
· Promote the Local Arts Community
· Each Event to be Financially Self Sufficient

Muster Dates will coincide with the Maitland Cattle sales – which are held on the third Saturday of each month.
Remember that all stock owners must:
- Do online registering of all stock movements both on and off the Common
- If you are selling your stock directly off the Common, you have to use a Common waybill from the Common hard copy book
- If you are moving your stock off the Common, but not to a sale yard, you must complete either a TSS (Transported Stock Statement) or eNVD – and give one copy to the transporter.
- If you hold a eNVD, you do not need a TSS for stock movements.
