MVA Events aims to connect all members of the Macdonald Valley who wish to participate in community activities, whether you are a Member of the Association or not.

The MVA is a unifying and active organisation that does many things consistent with its’ Mission Statement of ‘Protect, Enhance and Promote the Natural and Human Environment of the Macdonald Valley’.

One of these is to organise occasional community events, whilst meeting our broad goals of;

·       Promote Community Participation and Wellbeing
·       Create Opportunities for Local Business Involvement
·       Promote the Local Arts Community
·       Each Event to be Financially Self Sufficient

Music at St Albans – History of the Organ

St Alban the Martyr Church, Wharf St, St Albans

Wentworth Healthcare have kindly funded a fantastic programme of classical music events to take place in St Albans throughout 2023.

John Vallance will play the little organ in the Church at St Albans as he talks about the history of this ancient instrument and the music written for it.

Please join us for nibbles and drinks after the concert in the nearby Church Hall, courtesy of The Settlers Arms Inn and Wentworth Healthcare.
